There are several blogs I began following long before I started my own, that have inspired me with their wonderful DIY projects and crafts. I started my blog in December and have been fortunate to connect with a few others as well. Since I especially enjoy furniture makeovers, I want to share a few from some of my favorite blogs that will hopefully inspire you as they have me.
This first feature is from My Repurposed Life, which is a blog I have been following for a long time now. Gail has done some amazing furniture transformations and this one in particular is one of my favorites. Take a look at what she did with this desk and check out her other projects…there are so many to see!
I recently came across this furniture makeover from Plaster & Disaster. I love what they did with this dresser turned TV stand…the color is perfect. Check out the entire post to see the how beautifully they have the entire room decorated. They have a new follower here!

I have been following the Toolbox Divas since I started my blog and have to say they have really inspired me in the short amount of time I have followed them. I have recently joined their Pinterest Room Challenge, which has already motivated me to get some projects done. I love this upcycled headboard Timisha created with pieces of wood panels.
Anytime I see furniture painted turquoise it catches my eye. I love the beautiful shade of turquoise Candace used to paint this side table. Check out her blog, Candace Creates, for DIY projects and inspirational posts about faith and family. Candace’s blog has inspired me in many ways!
Southern Revivals is another blog I have been following for a while now. I absolutely love this vintage sideboard Jamie updated with such a pretty paint color. She has so many great furniture makeovers on her blog, it was difficult to choose just one for this feature! Check out this sideboard along with her other furniture makeovers!
I hope you enjoyed these features as much as I have. Check out their links and connect with them to get updates on their latest projects…and get inspired to create your own!
